šŸ¤© How It Feels To Be A Top 1% Creator

Exhausted at the thought of content?

Let's daydream about a different scenario:

  • You see content go out that you forgot you'd made.

  • You create when you feel inspired, not when you have to.

  • You enjoy the process of writing - it never feels like a chore or 'work'.

  • You're weeks ahead so you have no pressure of deadlines.

  • You're detached from content ā€˜needing to performā€™ because you have a formula for what works.

  • You enjoy a constant feedback loop with your audience who bring forward ideas.

  • You're removed from 80% of the process, only being involved when you want to be.

  • Your content output is disconnected from your time input.

This is the path of the leveraged creator.

It's how it feels to join the Top 1%.

The best thing?

Itā€™s absolutely possible for everyone.

Success leaves clues.

There are patterns behind high-performing content.

There are trends that come back around time and time again based on what people enjoy.

Whatever your goal is as a creator, you just need to:

  1. Refine your core message

  2. Share it as a story

  3. Package it in a digestible way

Experiment until you strike gold. Rinse and repeat ā™»ļø

Whether content creation is your passion or a mechanism for leads, once you have the right systems set up it's easy to maximise the opportunities.

Maybe youā€™re building a creator business and want to self-fund the venture through sponsorships.

Or maybe it's about personal branding - to close more business as youā€™re already recognised as an authority figure.

Once you understand the principles, the results are inevitable.

Iā€™ve seen this for myself with zero experience and prior credibility.

I see it with our clients who live this out every day.

The purpose of this newsletter is to get you there. For now, just know that itā€™s possible for you.

šŸ’ Thought of the week

Ups and downs are part of the process. Itā€™s why rollercoasters are fun.

I think a lot about quitting.

How do we truly know when itā€™s the right time to quit something?

My guess is that it comes down to something deeper like our intuition and ā€œlistening to our gutā€. However, even when you might know deep down itā€™s time to quit something, having the courage to do so is another thing altogether.

This is a nice visual for those times when you want to continue something and just need some encouragement.

ā¤ļø Content I LOVED

- I grabbed this book for my Kindle when I was experiencing burnout. It was eye-opening to learn that there are 7 unique types of rest: physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, sensory, social and creative.

- The concept of an ā€œAddition Biasā€ stuck out to me in this interview with Jodie Cook. When faced with a challenge, we usually try to do more to fix it. Sometimes less is better and weā€™d be better off subtracting.

šŸ•¹ļø Tool - ChatGPT

- This is a super obvious one, but I donā€™t feel like Iā€™m using AI enough considering the crazy opportunities. To change this, Iā€™ve bookmarked ChatGPT going forward to use it as my default instead of Google.
